Position Summary

We currently hold an exciting opportunity for a Home Care Employee to work at Southport. As a Home Care Employee, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a high standard of care is maintained at all times and focusing on providing top quality holistic care to our clients. Working within our Community Sector, you will have a genuine desire to assist your clients and you will have a strong client focus.


Your duties will include:

  • Assisting clients with personal care such as: Showering, hygiene and grooming;
  • In home respite;
  • Assisting with daily living activities and;
  • Participating in our Social Support Program;

To be successful in this role you will have a passion to make a positive difference to your clients’ life, as well as:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or previous experience working in community care;
  • First Aid Certificate and;
  • Must have a current Driver's Licence.

You are required to hold and maintain a current National Police Certificate at your expense or be eligible to receive one prior to commencing.
